If your NLS database does not have a current license key, the Setup > System > License Key window will automatically open. This is the only place in NLS to which you will be able to navigate to until a valid license has been installed.
Your license key will be provided by Nortridge Software as a
license.key file. If you have received your file via email, save it to your local hard drive.
Click Get Key and navigate to the
license.key file then click Open. The parameters of the license (serial number, number of users, expiration date, and special features) will be shown on the screen. Click OK to install the license to the database.
If there is a need to enter a new license key at a future date (such as if you have recently purchased additional user licenses) go to Setup > System > License Key and follow the procedure above to enter the new license key.
